Frequently Asked Questions

On this page you will hopefully find an answer to any questions you might have about our Bouncy Castles and our Service. If, after reading this page, you are unable to find what you are looking for, please contact us.

Do you deliver, set up and dismantle the bouncy castle?

Yes, we setup all of our bouncy castles, this is all included in the price, delivery is free within a 6 mile radius of our office in Kingswood, Bristol, we do offer delivery further afield for an additional cost. Please allow time for us to setup and dismantle when booking.

When can I hire a Bouncy Castle?

Our castles are available for hire 7 days a week 8am-8pm for our standard prices or until 10pm for an additional cost.

What happens if the weather turns bad?

You can call us and discuss your booking if the weather is bad on your hire date, to cancel, rearrange or just to find out if its still ok to go ahead.

Some of our castles come complete with a shower cover (which also acts as a sun shade). In light rain the castle can be towel dried and you can continue to bounce. If the forecast is for heavy rain then you are advised to cancel the castle, as late as an hour before your delivery slot on the day of the hire.

But we do hold the right to cancel due to bad weather conditions (i.e. very high winds above 19mph)

How big does my garden have to be and what surface is best?

Our castles require a flat grass area if they are used outdoors, clear of all obstacles. The size depends on the size of castle you are ordering and we require additional space of approx 4 ft around the castle. For example a 12ft x 15ft castle will need an area of approx 20ft x 23ft, all sizes and space needed are specified within the details of each bouncy castle.

Do I need to keep the blower going?

Yes please as this keeps the bouncy castle inflated. However, if there is a change in the weather and it becomes very windy/rainy then simply switch off the castle and wait for it to deflate.

Do you provide me with safety/operating instructions?

Each castle comes with a safety chat by our staff member. They will also ask you to sign a safety guide to say that you have read, and are happy with, the operating of your castle. You are of course expected to comply to these safety guidelines throughout the day whilst in charge of the bouncy castle.

Can Adults use the Bouncy Castle?

Most of our castles are for the use of children only. We do have a few castles that are suitable for adult use please specify this when booking.

What time can I have my castle delivered?

Your castle can be delivered and collected at a time that is convenient for you subject to availability. Specific times can be discussed at the time of booking. Our normal operating hours are from 8.00am-8.00pm

Can we move the castle?

No! For both insurance and safety reasons you are not to move the castle under any circumstance. It must remain in the same place as installed by the delivery team.

Are you insured?

Absolutely! We are insured for Public Liability which covers accidents which were our fault, such as equipment failure or failing to install a unit correctly. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is adult supervision of the unit, and equipment, and the supervision of the people using it at all times, you the hirer are liable for any damage, accident/injury caused by poor supervision of the equipment, additional day policies can be purchased from insurance companies for your piece of mind (search google one day bouncy castle insurance)

Do you supply safety mats?

Yes! All our castles are delivered with safety mats. You are kindly asked to ensure these are kept at the front of the castle at all times. Please note these are not designed to be landed on too heavily so any child seen bouncing on the front step should be asked to move back into the main bouncing area.

Can we hire a bouncy castle if we dont have grass in our garden?

Unfortunately we do not offer setup on any surface other than grass outdoors. Due to health a safety reasons with regards to possible high wind factors bouncy castles must be secured firmly to the ground with anchor stakes if hiring outside, bouncy castles can not be secured firmly enough if setup on artificial grass, bark, soil, gravel, concrete and patios. We can however setup inside halls, clubs etc as long as there is sufficient space.
